Steps we take to handle your move with care:
 
  • Computers and electronic equipment:  Your electronic equipment is never blanket wrapped, padded or put in open boxes.  Dust, rain and bruised boxes can severely damage sensitive CPUs. We use Comp-U-Wrap, which acts like bubble wrap but is faster, easier, more efficient and environmentally friendly.
     
  • Desks: The downtime associated with moving and packing drawer contents is virtually eliminated with space gobblers—a product that immobilize contents and enable us to move a desk and credenza fully loaded.
     
  • Containers: We eliminate 90% of corrugated boxes and your end users will never lift a loaded box.  Tyga boxes are “green,” hard plastic containers that can be stacked 4 to
    5 high and on dolly.
     
  • Library: Packing books into mountains of boxes is labor intensive and hinders accessibility to information before, during and after the move.  We use book bins and space gobblers to give you 100% access to important books immediately before and after the move with no mix ups.
     
  • Building protection: Avoiding building damage used to be almost impossible.  At Today’s we have had great results using Mat-A-Doors to protect door frames and elevators and Pathrite and Coreflex vinyl adhesive covers to protect the carpet and walls.
     
  • Loading: Your furniture is not stacked one on top of the other, but loaded onto the moving equipment that stays in the truck. This “floating” method of loading is fast, safe and efficient.
     
  • Contingency planning:  Rocky Brown, (title here) has final authority and is completely accessible during your move. Any emergency or last minute issues that cannot be resolved by our staff will be handled by him.
     
  • Insurance: Replacement value insurance is never a substitute for a good mover.  We will present current insurance and other certifications as well as general liability coverage so you are not contingently liable for accidents.
     
  • References and Audits: We have an “open book policy.” You are always welcome to examine our payroll and cost records to verify all charges and get a list of customers.
     
  • Orientation: Prior to presenting you with a quote, we ask that you allow our representative an individual “walk through.”  A thorough, detailed and realistic estimate takes time.  Should we be fortunate enough to win your business we will ask for a special move session led by our representative with management and employees so everyone understands their role in the moving process.
